Kate Bush - The Sensual World

Since this is the entry in "Sexin' Month" that falls closest to Valentine's Day proper, a woman's perspective seems appropriate. So here's Kate, rocking some bizarre headwear and singing one of her dirtier songs. The lyrics to this song are based primarily on Molly Bloom's soliloquy that comprises the final chapter of Joyce's Ulysses.

I thought it was "Black History Month."

Now that we have a black President, black history month is null and void. February is now up for grabs for another historically downtrodden peoples to claim, first-come, first-served.

But listen, if you're still committed to black history month, you could combine it with sexing month by posting nothing but 2 Live Crew songs.

I'm totally posting a 2 Live Crew song on Monday. And you people thought you didn't like what I posted before. Ha!

Hadn't heard her before... I don't know, but I definitely prefer the vocalists in Fairytale of New York and all those silly Nick Cave duets from this time.
