Gil Scott-Heron just put out his first album in 16 years - I could've posted the lead single, which I really like. But I wanted to go a little older and a little funkier, and this promo clip is the tits.

Was going to do this exact same post a couple Mondays ago, and decided that I didn't want to do my third Gil Scott track on the blog. But I'm glad you did.
(really dig the album a lot more than I would have sort of expected, too. I was really afraid it'd blow.)
Oh I figured you were going to hate me for another week. But I would have thought you'd like that song, at least the Galaxie 500 verson.
