Radiohead - Everything in its Right Place

In honor of the imminent end of "Perdidos".

I've been a very, very slow adopter of Radiohead (just ask my brother). They were doing the best albums of the aughts on the "All Songs Considered" podcast and when they got to Kid A they played "Morning Bell" which of course I'd never heard but which totally punched me in the junk. So you win, Steven, I like Kid A now. (I know the rest of you have listened to this one a billion times, but its new to me.)

Wow, your brain is like a pre-Radiohead life raft. I mean, I assume most of us are post-Radiohead at this point.

I just, I really didn't like OK Computer, so I kind of gave up on the whole thing. And I still don't think I like OK Computer, but now I feel like I finally get it. They've been probably my biggest cultural blindspot for a long time.

"Isn't today Craig's day? That can't be right. maybe it is Dan's day? No, Dan was yesterday and that would make even less sense. What the hell it was Craig who posted this what the hell." That's what I said.

It's kind of sad, I knew your feelings on Radiohead would come to an end, it's just sad that it has.

Also, don't post any damn Lost spoilers. I'm making my way through Season 5 now, and I was right about Jack's father.

That room with the wheel and Benjamin Linus, pretty fucking awesome.

I forget what you had said about Jack's dad. I guess it's not particularly spoiler-y to say that it's still not 100% clear what the story is with him, although it's pretty easy to speculate once you finish season 5. The finale....it's still blowing up my mind grapes. All the mythology they dropped into the episode, and then months and months to wait in order to figure out what it all means.

No surprises, please. Damn.

I'm pro-Radiohead puns, nice, Lous.

I'm getting repetitive, though, so I've gotta karma police myself... That first one up there is the third time I've creeped that into our lull of everyday comments here, if I can remember.

I might be wrong...
