It's not the most optimistic or festive song for this occasion, but it's something large and sad and slow and full of life. Nobody sounds more in the moment than Nina Simone. This song feels more like an event than any day on a calendar.
It will be.

I really don't belong around here, do I?
I feel sorry for Craig.
Incredible. I won't even bother trying to follow that (tomorrow's song is going to be completely uninspiring and silly.)
Also, Craig needs this in album form too, even if it's only a best-of.
Craig, the boards are down for me right now, but this finished uploading and I don't want to lose the link, so:

That's Anthology.
I don't understand the obsession with Nina Simone. She's like my fifth favorite female jazz vocalist.
I don't understand the obsession with third-wave ska, but there it is.
